LDA Director

Brig RS Jamwal did his schooling from Lawrence School Sanawar, Shimla Hills and joined NDA in 1973 to be commissioned as officer into the Indian Army in 1976. He did his BSc, MSc and MBA while in service. A graduate of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, Joint Services Staff College, Canberra, Australia and College of Defence Management, Secunderabad, he is widely traveled, having been posted to Namibia & Australia and visited Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Canada, USA, Alaska, Dubai, Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and South Africa. He has seen warlike situations in Mizoram, Nagaland, Srinagar and Siachen Glacier (the highest battle field on earth). He has 18 years experience in coaching officers of the Indian Army and has organised three recruitment rallies in 1998, 2006 & 2007. He was Chairman Kendriya Vidhyalaya Sanjuwan and Chairman of Sanjuwan Army School. He retired from Army after 36 years service in Jul 2012 and established Lakshya Defence Academy in Jammu on 01 Jul 2013 to impart training to all aspirants who wish to join the Belt Forces as Officers or as Soldiers.

LDA is an institution designed to impart specialised training to young aspirants, boys & girls, who wish to join the belt forces.

289 students have cleared SSB to become Officers; 401 have cleared their Officer level written exam for NDA/CDS/AFCAT/ACC/TA ; and 2765 have been recruited (Bharti huye) in Army, Navy, Air Force, SSC GD, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, Police bringing the total to 3455 selected candidates. The success rate of Lakshya Defence Academy to 96%. Courses Conducted: The Academy provides coaching for joining Defence Forces. We specialise in training to join all Belt Forces like Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, Police.

SSB Interview Coaching: At Lakshya Defence Academy, we take pride in our commitment to preparing aspirants for success in the SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview, a crucial step in the journey towards a distinguished career in the Defense Forces. All classes for SSB are taken by Brigadier Jamwal himself. He offers unparalleled coaching designed to hone your skills and polish your personality traits, ensuring you stand out during the SSB selection process. All aspects of SSB procedure are covered during the course to include Mock Interviews, Psychological Tests and GTO Tests.

Physical Fitness: We recognise the significance of physical fitness in forging successful careers in the Forces. Our Academy is dedicated to providing rigorous and comprehensive coaching for the physical tests that forms a crucial part of the selection process. We have the biggest training ground in Jammu and Physical Training qualified Army JCOs who conduct physical training for you.
